Position Description

The overall responsibility of the Franchise Sales Coordinator is to support and administer the Franchise Sales Department's development plans and strategies.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Support and implement the on-going marketing plans of the Franchise Sales Department.
• Work closely with internal team members from various departments, current franchisees and candidates
to further develop and expand the Cousins Subs brand.
• Interface with outside advertising agency and vendors to assure franchise sales marketing materials are
produced in a timely manner.
• Support Cousins Subs' Area Developers in their efforts to cultivate new and existing franchisees to
develop additional Cousins Subs restaurants.
• Research and take the initiative to present to management new ways to advertise and market for
franchisees.
• Assist in the development of communications and content around the Cousins Subs brand that drives
franchise candidate inquires.
• Support new franchisees through the entire process from inquiry, application, Discovery Day, signing,
training, opening, and beyond to build a "Best in Class" relationship.
• Compile the names of potential franchisees in response to newspaper advertisements, press releases,
telephone, and internet inquires, referrals from Area Developers and other resources.
• Track, maintain, and analyze marketing research data, lead sources, trends, and franchise sales closure
rates.
• Maintain and develop all records necessary for tracking franchise candidates through the development
process utilizing Salesforce.com.
• Initiate and pursue the sales of franchises in accordance with the Director's business strategies while in
compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Monitor advertising budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts as
directed by the department's Director.
• Keep an on-going log of marketing activities and prepare monthly Franchise Sales Activity reports by
collecting, analyzing, and summarizing productivity data.
• Continually assess the current franchise sales development process from advertising, lead generation,
inquiry, application, meetings, Discovery Day, due diligence, and report on any short falls; formulate
necessary improvements to stimulate franchise sales growth.

Event Planning/Discovery Days/Trade Show Responsibilities:

• Attend and support the planning and executing of trade shows, regional meetings, and Chamber of
Commerce events.
• Coordinate and facilitate Discovery Day meetings.

General Responsibilities:

• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading trade publications, and
networking with industry professionals.
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and
exploring opportunities to add value to position.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
