Position Description

Tramont Corporation seeks a highly motivated Noise Control/ Electrical Design Engineer to become part of our engineering team. Tramont Corporation is the leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of innovative accessories for the Emergency Power Generation industry and includes the Fortune 500 manufacturers and their regional distributors as customers.

Noise Control/ Electrical Design Engineer

•This full-time position is for an individual with experience in Noise control engineering and design, noise criteria, acoustics, attenuation, concepts, and skills in electrical generation with low and high voltage wiring.

•A minimum of five years of project management and design experience in a manufacturing environment is required. A background in electrical and mechanical systems is a plus.

•Primary responsibilities include R&D of sound attenuation enclosures.

•Secondary responsibilities include mechanical and electrical projects for engine-generator accessories.

•Experience in a metal/sheet metal manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

•Knowledge in CAD based software, Solid Edge, Solid Works or AutoCAD is preferred.

•The ideal candidate is organized, detailed, and team-oriented, with excellent computer skills and the ability to work well with minimal supervision.
