The Paragon Activity Club (PAC) is a Saturday and morning/evening program providing children 8-14yrs, adolescents 15-21yrs, and adults 21+ growth and opportunity, through creative programming in a recreational day service setting, as well as in our community. We are currently seeking Part-Time and Substitute Pool Program Instructors/1:1 Assistants to use teachable moments to facilitate meaningful experiences and assist individuals with a variety of developmental disabilities, mental illness, traumatic brain injuries, physical challenges, and other medical needs to be able to participate in a diverse variety of daily activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: facilitating group activities, recreation, and community events; document daily opportunities and obstacles; provide personal care support as needed; provide participant transportation in agency vehicles; participate in providing a safe and clean working environment.
QUALIFICATIONS include being available for rotating Saturday Recreation Club; Subs available for scheduled vacation / "day of" call-in coverage. Being a responsible, committed, caring, self motivated individual with a positive attitude. Be willing to step into a leadership role as needed while working as a positive member of the team to provide appropriate social role modeling to people with disabilities. You must have a valid WI driver’s license with 3 years driving experience an acceptable driving record. Must pass a pre-employment physical and TB screen. Must participate in a drug screening program, . Must have an acceptable criminal background check. EOE
