A booming company in the Madison area is looking for an experienced R&D Chemist to join their team! This company is growing quickly and is looking for someone who can jump in and be up and running with little or no training. The right candidate must have chemical R&D (3-5 years), and formulation experience. They must be independent, have a good working knowledge of the scientific process, and have a drive to succeed! Having a passion for R&D is a must!

In this position you will be able to:

1. Design and implement studies to determine chemical and physical properties of technical materials
2. Perform research to develop and improve existing products including upgrading product formulations.
3. Provide chemical knowledge and assistance in the chemistry lab
4. Work with biology personnel to test the effects of chemical processes

Qualifications of the perfect candidate include;
- B.S. degree in Chemistry
- 3-5 years experience in research and development
- Formulations experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with HPLC and GC
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic attitude
- Insecticide/Rodenticide Formulation experience is a plus
