Position Description
General Description:
The Customer Project Engineer converts our Customers wants and needs into devices to be built by Axcesor or sourced worldwide and fulfilled by Axcesor. Candidate must have a strong design background with exceptional spatial aptitude. Projects are managed from inception through manufacturing launch using CAD software, suppliers, tool makers, and by meeting Regulatory and Quality System requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Work with core and new customers on Product Design and Design for Manufacturing, expanding the Companies abilities in Product Development.
• Work with supplier/partners providing services and filling in-house capability gaps.
• Work with Manufacturing staff directing launch activities.
• Accurately maintain documents and manage projects.
Job Activities:

• Quoting
• Developing Manufacturing Documents and Design History Files
• Launching Products and Processes
• Product, Tool and Assembly Design
Qualifications:
This position requires: BS in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering with equivalent experience in Manufacturing and Quality Methods; A spatial aptitude and Experience in 3-D Computer Aided Design and MS-Windows Applications; Interpersonal and communication skills; Detail orientated and ability to organize and execute multiple tasks.
