Under the direction of the manager, this position will supervise the production workflow and Component Production staff. The Component Production Laboratory is responsible to check-in items, manufacture products, label, and maintain accurate records. We will depend on you to assure that the manufacturing processes for blood products are performed in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements and that customer satisfaction, operational/cost effectiveness, and quality are achieved. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related science, at least 2 years’ in a clinical laboratory setting, and a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience. Medical Technologist with ASCP is preferred. Knowledge of computer baaed data handling systems, regulatory environment, and quality systems are required.
