We are currently seeking a Clinic Supervisor who is enthusiastic about providing exceptional patient care. The ideal individual will supervises the day to day operation non physician staff to provide effective and efficient operation of Aurora Medical Group. In this position, you will be able to be at your best in a fast-paced environment focused on teamwork and putting the patient first

  • Monitoring the functioning of the medical group and revising operational procedures as necessary.
  • Overseeing all functions of the medical group including reception and scheduling activities, patient service areas, accounting, medical records, transcription, business information systems, and appropriate clinical areas.
  • Establishing effective policies and procedures for each area, updating as necessary.
  • Performing human resource management responsibilities, including interviewing and selection of new employees, training, performance evaluations, salary adjustments, resolution of employee concerns, disciplinary counseling and terminations when necessary.
  • Functioning as a liaison between non physician staff and physicians to ensure effective service for patients.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with group physicians.
  • Overseeing the day to day processing of accounts payable by preparing payment requests, obtaining proper authorization and ensuring that payments are made on a timely basis.
  • Knowledge of business and health care administration, equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regionally accredited bachelor’s degree program.
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this job are typically acquired through a minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a similar medical practice setting which should include a thorough knowledge of physician billing, accounting and general medical office procedures as well as highly developed communication, decision making, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the physicians and non physician employees.
  • Basic knowledge of medical procedures normally associated with a clinic setting.
