Position Description
PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Saturday position available. Exciting, fast paced, diverse subacute poulation. Short length of stays with over 90% returning to prior living arrangement. Excellent cooperative interdisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities: Provides treatment and evaluation upon physician referral according to the American Physical Therapy Association and facility standards/procedures. Provides comprehensive management and treatment to clients to improve quality of life. This is achieved by assisting in the improvement of and/or the prevention of decline in functional ADL, motor and cognitive skills. These skills may be impaired by disease, developmental delay, aging process or trauma.
Education requirements include a Baccalaureate or Master's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program, currently licensed according to state law and APTA requirements and one year experience as a licensed therapist.
