Position Description

Development Associate

Job Description: Responsible for grant/fundraising development to successfully achieve religious School’s annual fundraising goals.
Job Location: Torah Academy of Milwaukee, Inc, (Orthodox Jewish Girl’s High School), Glendale, Wisconsin.

General Summary-Collaborate with Administrator, Principal, School Executive Committee in planning, organizing, administrating, directing and evaluating the development functions of the School in order to support the mission, goals and objectives of the School.

Position Responsibilities:
1. Identify and develop new sources of fund development.
2. Take active role in development of fundraising projects/special events.
3. Conduct School tours.
4. Develop marketing materials including news letter and other information related to fund development.
5. Contribute to development of School website.
6. Gant research and writing.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Skills needed in fundraising, proposal writing, ability to forge positive interpersonal relationships. Experience working with nonprofit boards of directors a plus. Strong organizational skills, written and oral communication, proficiency in computer fundraising and related database management.
