Civil CAD Designer
Milwaukee, WI
3 – 9 week contract
Skills and Abilities Required:
Experience with Civil 3D (MUST HAVE)
Experience with AutoCAD 2008 and/or Land Development Desktop
Must be detail oriented, posses excellent communication and organizational skills
Associates or BS in Drafting
5+ years Civil Design experience
Ideal candidate will have the same software at home

General Summary of the Position:

Conducts and participates in various phases of planning, proposal preparation, site evaluations, analytical designs, report preparation, specifications, and preparation of construction documentation and environmental plans as part of a project team.

Prepares site layout plans

Prepares cross-sections and profiles, based on existing and proposed topography.

Calculate quantities to be used in construction estimates.

Reviews drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards.

Uses computer programs and spreadsheets for engineering analysis.

May work from home from time to time.
