Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc. is one of the nation's premier grocery retailers is searching for a Staff Pharmacist to be located at its Pick 'N Save location in Cudahy, WI. Company-owned and operated supermarkets include Pick ‘n Save stores and Copps Food Centers in Wisconsin and Rainbow Foods in Minnesota.

REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Pharmacy from a four-year college or university, or Pharm. D. degree.
•Current state Registered Pharmacist license required

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Interprets physicians’ prescriptions and enters prescription and patient data into computer system. Checks for drug interactions and allergies.
•Provides Pharmacy Technician prescription information and supervises filling of same.
•Counsels patients over the phone and in person. Conveys pertinent information regarding use of medications and potential interactions. Ensures patient understanding of the medication treatment program.
•Consults with other health care professionals and conducts research to ensure that all services are in the best interest of the patient and conform to established professional standards and applicable state laws.
•Compares product prices with competitors to gauge competitiveness and profitability.
•Reviews inventory on daily basis. Places orders for medication as necessary. Maintains appropriate level of supplies.
•Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.

WORK SCHEDULE: Salaried Position (7 days a week availability, depending on needs of department)
