Unity Health Insurance, a locally owned and operated health insurer based in Sauk City, Wisconsin is looking for an energetic individual to join our Finance Department as a Financial Analyst III. This position is responsible for developing advanced knowledge of the daily operations of the financial reporting and analysis work for the finance, underwriting and provider contracting areas of the company. The primary responsibilities will include compiling, manipulating, and preparing statistics to allow accurate fact based decisions for provider contracting, costing analysis, and insurability of group or individual products. Knowledge of medical terminology a plus. This position will act as a Lead in the department to assist and train other Financial Analysts.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience
• 6+ years previous financial analysis experience in an insurance or HMO setting preferred.
• Advanced PC and analytical software applications experience in Excel required.
• Advanced proficiency in Business Objects a strong preference.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to problem solve and use critical judgment skills.
