Connection Strategies Enterprises, Inc. is looking to fill a contract position for a Systems Architect in the Madison area. The selected candidate will perform advanced professional information systems (IS) work on large complex web-based systems under general supervision. Design, develop, and/or maintain current or new web based applications using the latest technologies available to the department including SharePoint, ASP.Net, C#.Net, XML/XSLT, MS Patterns and Practices, and Web Services. Develop and propose detailed design solutions. Define application functionality, data requirements, business rules and application flow. Perform database design, development and implementation tasks using SQL programming skills, including stored procedures, views, and user defined functions. Follow Agile Methodology prototyping solutions to define and refine business requirements. Leverage Design Patterns to support best practice software development processes. Utilize Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration techniques to improve software quality. Leads the design and development of next generation internal business systems. Possesses experience in finance/accounting, HR, and/or Graphical Information Systems (GIS).
