Currently, we are recruiting for an Analytical Environmental Chemist to perform analysis on metals and for detection of metals in environmental samples. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity in the greater Madison area. Responsibilities include testing using ICP, AA, and graphite furnaces. You will also be responsible for compiling data into reports to be submitted to the EPA and DNR. This is a full-time opportunity with a stable, well-established Environmental Testing Company that has been in business for more than 20yrs. The hours are primarily first shift but the client is looking for someone open to first and second shift.

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related science field. Candidates with experience using ICP, AA, and graphite furnaces are highly preferred. Prior environmental testing experience is a huge plus as well.
