Finance Manager
Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. This position will report to the Accounting Director and will be involved with and work with the corporate reporting functions. This position is a very visible role interfacing with multiple key areas within the organization. The Key responsibilities will include:
• Initiatives to comply with the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
• Assessing key financial internal control objectives and processes and their impact on financial reporting across multiple business functions
• Assist the Director of Accounting Policy in designing and implementing or ensuring that others design and implement accounting policies and related internal controls to comply with GAAP
• Ensure business units have clear understanding of accounting policies and potential impacts and operational processes are considered in the implementation of accounting policies
• Financial reporting for the Corporations employee benefit plans
• Contribute to the implementation of updated Governance, Risk and Compliance software and supporting processes
• Liaison with the external auditors
• Special projects, which include acquisition due diligence and closing integration and management of special projects within the accounting function, as needed
The ideal candidate MUST HAVE a Bachelors Degree, 7-10 years experience, excellent communication and skills and a CPA is REQUIRED. Experience in the financial services and or public accounting industry is preferred. To be considered please forward resume and salary requirements
