Position Description
An exciting potential to join a team of professionals at Genesee Lake School at Oconomowoc Developmental Training Center. The Oconomowoc Developmental Training Center is a highly respected and recognized provider of services to those in need, specializing in providing residential and school programming for children, adolescents and young adults with dually diagnosed developmental disabilities and emotional disturbances. Licensed by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Health and Social Services, ODTC operates intensive residential care and total treatment services 24 hours a day 365 days a year. ODTC also offers a Day School Program for children from area school districts in need of more intensive educational services.
Training and experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Emotional Disabilities required. Experience with Stanley Greenspan’s DIR and Floortime model preferred. Assistive technology training and implementation experience a must. Candidates should be prepared to articulate how they support student learning in the classroom as well as participate in a collaborative school-based team.
Qualified candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from an ASHA accredited school, a valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Speech/Language License (#820), and a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
