ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD CHEMIST
An environmental and industrial services company is seeking an experienced Environmental Technician. This position requires current 40 hour OSHA safety training (HAZWOPER) and the ability to read and understand material safety data sheets (MSDS). Ideal candidates will have knowledge in both hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, packaging, labeling, loading & coordinating transportation. Candidates must have an understanding of sampling/profiling material while adhering to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations including EPA, DOT, OSHA, and DEA. Experience in writing Waste Information Profiles (WIP) and knowledge of Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR) is highly desired.
Requires:
1-4 years of experience
40-hour OSHA, HAZWOPER certification
Ability to pass drug test
Good driving record
Ability to lift 65+ pounds and stand for long periods of time
