Community Outreach to People with Disabilities

These organizations are participating in our exclusive Community Outreach program. Through this program, groups and organizations that directly work with People with Disabilities receive open job notifications on a daily basis that match the criteria they specifically requested. These daily notifications (known as JobCasts™) can be customized by location, profession, education and experience.

AbilITy Connection

AbilITy ConnectionAbilITy Connection provides opportunities and advocacy for people with disabilities for entry into a career in Information Technology (IT). The program offers mentoring, possibility for internships, scholarships, and job placement assistance to IT students with disabilities. The result is a qualified pool of candidates who can help employers meet their growing IT needs.

Advanced Employment

Advanced EmploymentAdvanced Employment, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency that provides services to adults with a wide range of developmental disabilities. Every person should have the opportunity to work in our community. Our mission is to place individuals in community-based jobs that take into account personal strengths and preferences. Our role in the community is to provide the level of training and support each individual requires to attain success in the community. Advanced Employment also sponsors the ACE Program which is a mentoring program.

Dislocated Workers are folks that have been laid off, or, victims of businesses and plant closings looking to get retrained for future employment opportunities. Staff is located in the area Job ∓ Career Work Force Development Centers.
