Today, UMOS’ mission is to provide programs and services which improve the employment, education, health, and housing opportunities of under-served populations. Currently UMOS operates programs to assist low-income individuals and families as they gain economic self-sufficiency. |

YWCA of Greater Milwaukee (Workforce Training Center) For more than 114 years, the YWCA Greater Milwaukee has been the backbone of social change to empower women. The YWCA continues its commitment to changing the lives of women and their families through skill building, job training, supportive services, affordable housing and leadership development. Working with volunteers and collaborative partners, the YWCA provides training and programs to primarily low income individuals. Last year, we provided direct services to more than 15,000 women, men and children throughout the Greater Milwaukee area. |
