Job Description
Position Title: Assembler
Wage: $19.80/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 3:00pm - 1:00am (Monday - Thursday)

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Assembler at a company in Oak Creek, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Apply now!
Assembler Responsibilities:
- Reads and interprets related documents, drawings and specifications, including electrical schematics
- Use tools and equipment necessary to accomplish the job
- Perform manufacturing drilling and tapping operations
- Perform stripping, crimping and cutting operations related to wires
- Perform daily maintenance and checks on calibration of relevant equipment and tooling
- Participate in total quality control teams
- Maintain process control
- Assists with changes in processes, (i.e., create jigs, participate in speak outs, and give input for process improvements)
- Assemble panels, accessories into or on cabinets, and perform other miscellaneous mechanical assembly functions
- Assemble, wire, solder and/or modify module, chassis, enclosure, panel, subassembly, or assembly
- Processes manual or computerized transactions
- Perform masking and touch-up paint operation on cabinets, panels, or components
- Set up and operates nameplate, stamping, or any related machines to produce nameplates, tags, labels, etc.
Requirements for Assembler:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least six months of electrical/electronic manufacturing experience preferred
- Able to read and write English
- Basic math skills
- Able to lift up to 40lbs
- Manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail
