Position Description

As the Manager of Sales Administration, your role will be to support the efforts of the sales management staff to ensure coordination and smooth operation between different functions within the department. You will manage the group to include the following: sales administration, order management, sales processes, and product updates.

You will do this by:
  • Managingthe sales administration functions for a specific business unit to make certain products or services are delivered on-time and team is operating securely and effectively

  • Managingsales administration activities to ensure a high level of customer service by establishing and implementing reports and metrics

  • Supporting sales programs, new product introductions and price changes/increases to guarantee order and invoice accuracy

  • Coordinatingaccount information for sales programs with internal stakeholders and develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams and departments

  • Partneringwith internal functions to resolve sales administration issues affecting assigned group

  • Participatingin production planning and forecasting

  • Performing afull range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget

  • Performing other duties as assigned

You are the type of person who is/has:
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in sales or related experience
  • Proven leadership skills
