Saint Kate - the Arts Hotel is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join their leadership team. If you bring at least 2 years of leadership experience in the hospitality or service industry and are looking for more opportunities to grow - we should talk! This role will report directly to our Director of F&B and will work closely with our Director of Outlets, F&B manager, Executive Chef, and Banquets & Events team.

Located in the prime location of the Theater District, we not only welcome hotel guests looking for a unique hotel experience. F&B Manager Responsibilities

* Assist with managing all F&B outlets which include: The Bar, Aria Restaurant, Giggly Champagne Bar, In-Room Dinning, The Dark Room (private dining) and assist with Proof Pizza.

* Manage outlet staff; this includes hiring, training, scheduling and disciplinary action.

* Be hands on within the daily operations of the outlets

* Constantly coach associates to ensure a high level of service is consistently provided. Assess job performance and provide feedback to improve service experience.

* Assist with the development of promotional programming and sales inventive programs

* Control department costs by managing labor, product cost, waste, inventory, and ordering.

* Monitor food quality and service standards. Provide feedback when needed.

F&B Manager Qualifications

* At least 5 years of experience in the service industry preferred.

* Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations.

* Ability to effectively deal with internal & external guests with patience, tact, and diplomacy in order to successfully defuse emotions, collect information and resolve the situation.

* High school diploma required. College degree not required but equal work experience equality.

* Ability to work the entire shift standing and walking in the restaurant and kitchen areas.
