Work Schedule:

50% FTE, day shift. Varied hours Monday - Friday. Hours may vary depending on the operational needs of the department.

Pay: A competitive starting pay based on relevant work experience. This position also includes an evening differential. You may be eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

We are seeking an Ultrasonographer to:

  • Conduct a variety of routine exams and procedures in an Ob/Gyn ambulatory clinic setting.
  • Perform ultrasound imaging including pelvic, obstetrics and guided procedures, endometrial biopsies, sonohysterograms and IUD placements or removals.
  • Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, and adolescent age groups.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for the UW School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and participate in the instruction of UW Ob/Gyn residents.

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Previous healthcare experience.

Preferred - Two years clinical experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -

  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations. (RDMS) in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • RVT credential must be earned within 24 months of completing orientation, if not already acquired.
  • CPR certification required within three three months of hire.

Preferred -

  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations listed above and RVT.
