Bruker Nano, one of Bruker's four operating segments, provides customers in academic and governmental institutions, life science, materials, and applied industries with the tools to determine the characteristics of matter and visualize the structure of molecules. Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy.

Bruker AXS is looking for a Safety and Compliance Coordinator to ensure compliance with all company directed safety policies. Effective communication and cross-functional teamwork are required. This position is also responsible for managing our contracted maintenance provider requiring frequent discussions concerning building repairs and projects.

*This is a one-year contract position with the possibility for renewal.

Responsibilities

* Perform all Health and Safety functions, trainings and enforcement.
* Oversee all functions associated with building operations.
* Work closely with the third-party maintenance provider.
* Ability to review, understand and approve service provider invoices.
* Maintain ISO 9001 documentation database and company intranet
* Understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental standards.

Qualifications

* At least 1 year experience and an associate degree in business preferred
* Effective time management skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines while multitasking.
* Ability to work as both a sole contributor and as a team member.
* Ability to execute tasks with a high level of accuracy.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated basic mathematical skills.
* Microsoft proficiency
