Job Description

This position supports the general business operations of Missouri Online and performs a variety of independent, specialized business support duties for the organization. This includes executing, documenting and reporting on business and fiscal operations. The hybrid expectation for this position is anticipated to be one day a week on-site and sporadically as business needs necessitate.

Responsibilities include:
Financial duties include:

  • Prepare, analyze and distribute monthly financial reports.
  • Process invoices for payment.
  • Conduct vendor tracking and reporting.
  • Request journal entries and payroll corrections

Travel duties include:

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and conference registrations for Missouri Online Team members.
  • Help ensure compliance by acting as the in-house travel expert and must be fully informed of University travel policies and procedures.

Event coordination duties include:

  • Coordinate all logistics (retreat spaces, catering, hotel, etc).
  • Facilitate event planning meetings.
  • Address any event coordination issues and report on expenses.

Administrative duties include:

  • Responsible for supply ordering and inventory monitoring.
  • Schedule and coordinate virtual/in person meetings.
  • Ensure a functional office which includes assisting Missouri Online team members, internal and external vendors.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM. CST

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Intermediate Excel proficiency
Experience with fiscal transactions, journal entries and/or general accounting experience
Exhibited attention to detail accompanied with strong accuracy
Experience in higher education
Strong event planning/coordination skills
Demonstrated superior customer service and networking skills
Experience with PeopleSoft

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $16.83 - $20.19 per hour

Grade: GGS-007
