Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing global supply chain for the Company. They are responsible for determining a strategy for procurement, monitoring delivery times.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job:

• Responsible for managing and mitigating risk in Curt Joa Procurement Supply Chain.
• In charge of developing and maintaining global sourcing in specific category.
• Accountable for managing, updating, and maintaining cost.
• Responsible for cost, delivery, quality, and performance of the purchasing team.
• Develops, implements, and maintains purchasing strategy that supports company's strategic plan.
• Evaluates and understands conditions to maintain, control, and reduce costs.
• Responsible for evaluating, managing, and reporting out on vendor(s) performance via utilization of scorecards.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of managerial experience in a manufacturing organization with taking on progressively more complex roles.
• Previous experience in a global organization; global platform management preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with engineering and manufacturing staff along with supplier and customer personnel in a manner to effectively further Joa's operation objectives.
• Proven leadership abilities to inspire and coach peers and other internal customers to accomplish strategic and tactical goals and related tasks. This includes abilities that correspond to leadership, such as training and motivating employees, developing, and executing strategic business plans, developing, and administering budgets.

• Must be able to collaborate with others (including in person) to proactively develop solutions.
