The Role:

The Marketing Manager will own and lead projects and campaigns, which includes developing comprehensive campaign briefs and strategies, partnering with cross-functional teams to execute deliverables, and working with Marketing and Sales leadership to evaluate campaign success. This role will be responsible for understanding the needs of prospective and current customers, with the goal of creating awareness about CPI’s training programs and nurturing prospects through the buying journey. The Marketing Manager will also play a pivotal role in developing go-to-market plans for product launches.

What You Get To Do Everyday:

  • Partner with Marketing Leadership to develop business-to-business (B2B) lead generation and prospecting strategies, understanding the needs and pain points of CPI’s target audiences.
  • Partner with Marketing leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop the strategy, content, and business rules to stand up automated drip and nurture email campaigns.
  • Work closely with research sources to identify target customer segments based on shared needs and characteristics.
  • Drive the strategy and execution of key campaigns and initiatives, including writing campaign briefs to define objectives, segmentation, and key messaging.
  • Lead a strategic initiative to implement and optimize “always on” marketing across key channels (email, social, paid advertising, direct mail, and more), ensuring CPI is delivering the right content to the desired audience.
  • Measure and report performance of projects and campaigns, assessing return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing results, and spearheading continuous improvement.
  • Support Marketing Leadership in the development of a “One Team” approach, ensuring that lead generation and prospecting strategies integrate with digital channel strategy.
  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights to shape and communicate CPI’s vision and mission.
  • Coordinate public relations initiates and execute activities.
  • Develop annual plans for tradeshow events and coordinate execution of activities.
  • Monitor and research market trends, consumer markets, and competitors.
  • Forecast and identify trends and challenges.
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships.
  • Plan and track annual budget for initiatives within the role’s span of control.
  • Perform other position-related duties as assigned.

You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communication, business administration, or related field
  • Five years or more experience working in marketing, brand, strategy, research, or relevant roles
  • Experience developing campaign and marketing strategies, communicating recommendations to executives, peers, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functionally to execute projects and drive results
  • Experience working with client relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience identifying target audiences and developing effective campaigns
  • Knowledge of omni-channel marketing
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to obtain buy-in from leadership
  • Ability to inspire large teams, creating enthusiasm about projects
  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to develop dynamic and integrated strategic plans and roadmaps
  • Data-driven with a passion for analytics
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information accurately
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Motivated, self-starter, with the ability to work independently with limited oversight

  • Experience working with product development, sales, or sales operations teams
  • Experience working in health care or human services industries
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, customer experience marketing, and earned media marketing strategies
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing
