ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an entry-level Transportation Engineer to join our Transportation Department in our Manchester, NH office. This professional will work as a member of a team on a variety of projects focusing on roadway design projects. This may include planning, traffic and engineering studies, roadway alignment layouts, complete streets implementation, climate resiliency roadway adaptations, stormwater design, and bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure.
Under the direction of a Professional Engineer/Project Manager, the Transportation Engineer may be responsible for field work, concept and detailed design, and calculations among other engineering support activities. Our project engineers have a variety of opportunities to gain experience in many facets of transportation design so that they may decide the career path that best fits their aspirations.
Position Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
* Typically requires 0-3 years of relevant experience; internship experience
* FE registration preferred
* Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD is a plus
* Experience with DOT design guidelines is a plus
This position may reside in our Manchester, NH or Kennebunk, ME office with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule after six months.
