As the Human Resources Talent Specialist, you will play a key role in assisting with associate relations as well as recruiting. This opportunity will leverage your technical skills, talent acquisition knowledge, and provide you with a great opportunity to expand your HR acumen. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with a variety of individuals both inside and outside of the organization.

This role is based in our Stevens Point, WI location.

What You'll Do

As the HR Talent Specialist you'll work within the Talent team to attract talent and oversee associate relations situations. In addition, you'll:

  • Utilize employee relations software tool to documents investigations.
  • Review initial complaints, conduct investigations, recommend corrective action and provide summary reports as needed. Collaborate with necessary individuals for the situation.
  • Oversees the exit process including exit interviews, administering severance and assist with separation decisions.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: workforce planning, intake meeting, screening and presentation of candidates, communication throughout the process with candidates from applicant to hire
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to establish a recruiting strategy for current and upcoming positions. Work through sourcing strategies to meet the current and future needs of the business units.
  • May work in other HR departments as assigned.

What it Takes

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications is preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 2 - 5 years of Human Resources/recruiting experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Understanding of fair employment practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Technologically savvy
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with high level of ethics and integrity
