Job Purpose & Summary

System High requires an experienced and successful corporate-site program manager (PM) to actively lead the Proactive Protection Secure Holdings Risk-reduction and Equipment Destruction (P2 SHRED) program. This position is located within the Technology and Innovation portfolio and will report directly to the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer, Executive Vice President. The chosen candidate will have the requisite responsibility and authority to commit the System High Team, to include sub-contractors, to all operational functions in support of assigned contract(s), and to represent and act for, the company in all matters relative to the execution of those contracts.

Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Responsible for the overall profit and loss (P&L) for P2 SHRED activities.
  • Direct supervision and leadership of full and part-time System High employees in support of Sales/Business Development, Distributed and Centralized Operations.
  • Develop, maintain, evolve, and execute program plans and processes using data analytics and metrics to make informed decisions.
  • Responsible for all aspects of contract execution including employee and customer relations, financial execution, growth, and innovation.
  • Develop/provide guidance and direction to System High employees, subcontract teaming partners and consultants on policies with regards to program operations, execution of labor hours, extended work week policy, travel, comp time, etc.
  • Develop and present monthly or quarterly comprehensive Program Management Reviews to corporate leadership.
  • Monitor and adjust daily program activities as needed.
  • Communicate with Project leaders about program progress and issues.
  • Manage stakeholder communications.
  • Foster and ensure collaboration and strong communication among team members.
  • Coordinate interdependencies among projects and work.
  • Drive innovation by maintaining awareness of applicable government policies, anticipating needed evolutionary/revolutionary changes to both the technical and business elements of P2 SHRED, identifying opportunities, and continuous workforce development.
  • Remain current on PM technical proficiencies, maintaining collaborative community and company relationships, reviewing and assessing security relevant legislation, policy, and regulatory issuances affecting the P2 SHRED line-of-business.
  • Interview all prospective full/part-time employees and consultant personnel and conduct hiring actions.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Demonstrated successful leadership skills and experience - leading personnel across multiple functional and geographic areas to include sales/business development and operations focused activities with confidence and a sense of urgency.
  • Must be a successful thought leader who demonstrates a resourcefully positive "can do" attitude, respectfully assertive, independent, self-starter, professional who instills a measured approach that promotes internal and external collaboration.
  • Demonstrated Servant leadership experience is preferred.
  • Possess working knowledge and experience related to the Defense Security Enterprise to include the national security community, defense and intelligence industry, and their relationships.
  • Must be an experienced problem solver with demonstrated success in conflict resolution, effective and efficient problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple quick-turn projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful planning, budgeting, recruiting, directing, coordinating, scheduling, and supervising the activities of professional personnel.
  • Must have experience with various contract vehicles such as Purchase Orders, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, and Time & Materials.
  • Working knowledge of functional business areas and demonstrated successful business acumen such as developing and executing an annual budget, implementing cost controls, effective utilization rates, and sound business principles.
  • Must be comfortable working in ambiguous environments and learning new concepts quickly.
  • Ability to interface with clients and develop productive working relationships to meet mission objectives.
  • Available to work before/after typical office hours as requirements demand.
  • Travel may be required.

Clearance

  • TS//SAP//SCI is required.
  • CI Polygraph is not required - USG may request at any time.

Years of Experience/Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience in program or project management.
