The Mechanical Assembler position at Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC. requires a wide range of skills to prepare bulk container handling equipment both mechanically and simple electrical assembly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Use Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC. machine drawings, machine assembly drawings, controls schematics and relevant bills of materials to proficiently build according to drawings and problem solve where needed. Reduce and/or elimination of non-value-added work throughout the organization. Utilize hand tools proficiently in performing the following tasks: Structural assembly, Mechanical drive assembly, Fluid control assembly, Guard and cover assembly, Mechanical assembly. Work must represent quality workmanship, neatness, with acceptable efficiencies. Ability to debug machine; program debug; PLC programming; troubleshoot three phase and single-phase electrical circuits; and equipment set-up. Perform "I/O" checks and participate in set-up support for project engineers. Complete quality assurance checks for the Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC. Blue Books. Provide accurate documentation skills that includes labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports. Execute Busse inventory re-ordering policies that includes "Kanban". Prepare equipment for shipment including, but not limited to, machine teardown. Mechanical Assembler #2 will be required to show the team leads proficiency in the assembly of 3 sub-assembly structures on 2 different machines. Must be able and willing to train Assembler #1 employees.
