The Production Control Manager is responsible for managing factory loading based on Customer delivery requirements through Inside Sales, Manufacturing capacity to execute, and Material supply. Manage schedule and priority with Operations input to ensure all job orders are produced and achieve on-time delivery to customers. The Production Control Manager will interface with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to make sure there are right process and procedures in place, and act as the liaison between Production, Manufacturing and Customer Service Representative to ensure the efficiency and quality of job orders and to ensure people are properly scheduled and trained.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for setting up manufacturing capabilities by reviewing all new job orders and confirm appropriate turn-around time and pricing of all job orders to maintain revenue targets.
Responsible for overseeing the production of job orders, monitoring the production process of job orders and adjusting the production schedule as necessary.
Ensure with Manufacturing that all resources are available to complete jobs on-time and with acceptable quality.
Responsible for scheduling appropriate job orders to ensure past dues are kept at a minimum, individual departments are able to meet thru-put numbers and factory is able to achieve monthly shipment goals
Meet with customer service representative on job quotes to ensure delivery is achievable
Draft timelines for critical job orders to ensure progress throughout the shop
Serve as link between Manufacturing, Customer Service and Customers regarding status updates on all job orders.
Review daily reports regarding work-in-process to maintain a constant awareness of schedule adherence and factory issues to quickly determine necessary alternatives to maintain production schedules and on-time delivery.
Participate in daily production meetings to direct production activities, establish priorities and report daily progress.
Monitor product standards and recommend process improvements / quality control programs.
Collaborate with Manufacturing to identify and allocate personnel, material and equipment resources needed to meet production schedules and take steps to correct any slips in the schedule (yield, process delays).
Identify, conduct and participate in production, safety and other necessary trainings
Work with department managers to implement company polices and goals
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience with a MRP/MES systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, shop floor planning/control systems) is preferred
Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
Capable of quickly assessing a situation and making appropriate decisions
Strong computer/Microsoft Office skills
Supervisory experience
Knowledge of IPC standards or equivalent Manufacturing standards is preferred
Ability to stand/walk the production floor during shift
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required
Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred
Production control experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
