Overview:

Join our client's dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where we are seeking friendly individuals with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service. As a Dental Hygienist, your duties will include conducting initial patient screenings, performing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screenings, demonstrating radiographic proficiency, and charting conditions of decay and disease.

Collaborating with dentists, you'll play a crucial role in treatment planning and performing periodontal interventions. While previous experience is preferred, we encourage all qualified individuals to complete an online application to be considered for this rewarding opportunity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess sharp clinical skills including but not limited to capturing diagnostic x-rays, evaluating/treating periodontal disease, placing sealants, and providing options on preventative solutions for caries prevention and management.
  • Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
  • Perform oral cancer screenings.
  • Ability to co-treatment plan with DDS utilizing available technology.
  • Providing dental health education about tooth and gum care
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals in the practice to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Shift:

Mon 7-5pm

Tue 7-5pm

Wed 7-12pm

Thu 7-5pm

Fri 7-12pm

Requirements:

  • Registered Dental Hygienist License
  • Anesthesia Certification
  • CPR
  • 1 year of experience is preferred but will consider a new graduate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with computer technology.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
