Job Description
Company: Badger Ham

Location:
Milwaukee, WI

Position: Office Administrator and Food Coordinator

Overview

Badger Ham is a small food manufacturer based in Milwaukee. As our name suggests, Badger Ham specializes in making a variety of Hams for grocery stores and local customers across Wisconsin. Our goal is to make a delicious ham. Under new ownership, we are looking to invest in even higher levels of quality through plant improvements and sustainable food initiatives. We are looking to hire individuals who believe in small business and the importance of local, sustainable food production.

This role will require helping the Badger Ham front office with Food Safety, Quickbooks (POs, Invoices), and general front office business needs. A large portion of this position will be dedicated to upkeeping the Food Safety Program; however, we will ask for these individuals help across many divisions of the company—from HR paperwork, to project management of new equipment installs.

The ideal candidate has a passion for food, food manufacturing, and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry. This candidate must be comfortable in a small business setting, where they will be asked to help with a variety of tasks and projects (verses specializing in one job as large companies tend to operate).

We are looking to start at part time and potentially expand into fulltime as the company evolves. We can accommodate a hybrid work approach and flexible hours.

There is ample opportunity for growth and expanding into a leadership role within the company.
