Description
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to support the financial requirements for the x-EV Drive Unit operations. This position is responsible for working with the Accounting Manager to set up all financial systems for the new xEV Drive Unit facility, focusing on the set-up, installation and utilization of the new corporate ERP system.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
4-year College Degree in Accounting and/or Business or an equivalent amount of related education and experience
Minimum of 2 years related work experience
Knowledge of all Accounting Principles
Knowledge of ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience and Skills)
5 years related work experience, prior cost accounting experience is a plus
Good computer acumen: Knowledge of SAP and InFor reporting systems and/or a proven ability to create reports.
Essential to Job Functions - Physical and/or Mental Restrictions:
Ability to work for extended periods of time while sitting
Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen
Software:
Advanced experience with Excel preferred
Intermediate experience with SAP preferred
Production and Location Start-up Duties:
Work within small team to develop new manufacturing location and new processes to support smooth mass production start-up of EV products
Implement ERP system into new manufacturing facility.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy
Maintains clean and orderly work environment in accordance with 6S
Interacts with various levels of associates
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization needed
Ability to promote and carry out the "Astemo Philosophy"
Proven ability to make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, and be highly motivated
Confers with and prepares reports for upper management and possibly other Astemo companies
Ensures all local, state, and federal laws and regulations are complied with in functional area
Coordinates and recommends cost savings and efficiency ideas for the facility
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Will not supervise associates
Work Environment - Travel, Noise, Smells, Quiet, Indoors or Outdoors, etc.
Some travel may be required
Exposure to factory setting with noise
