We are looking for a Steel Connection Design Engineer on our growing team. Remote work opportunities may be considered. Projects include a wide variety of large commercial and industrial projects.

As a Steel Connection Design Engineer at GRAEF, enjoy responsibilities that include:

  • Design and detail steel connections.
  • Participate in corporate steel connection design standards including standard details, design tools, and design workflows.
  • Working in a collaborative manner with structural engineers of record, BIM technicians and structural steel detailers.
  • Participate in project estimates and work plans.

We are considering Steel Connection Design Engineer candidates to join our team who possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in structural engineering; Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years steel connection design experience. Employees with more experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Professional registration as a PE is a plus.
  • Professional technical society involvement is preferred.
