Concrete Pump Operator:

This job will require the operator to be proficient in operating our 36 - 47 meter boom pump truck and stand alone placing booms on our deck pours at times. We do not perform pumping services for the public, only for our own forces. Our operator will communicate well with others and likes to work outdoors. Operators Union Rate and Benefits.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must have minimum of 3-5 years' experience running, maintaining and troubleshooting modern day concrete pumps and placing booms
  • Must have WI Class A CDL
  • Drive the pump truck in a safe and conscientious manner to the job site and back to the yard.
  • Operate the pump and placing booms in a safe and conscientious manner on site, set up system, and clean out the pump after the job.
  • Keep units clean: Keep the pump, booms and truck washed and free of concrete and grease. Keep system free of concrete.
  • Yard: Return system after use to appropriate location in yard. Keep yard neat and orderly. Notify yard superintendent of any issues or concerns and document daily.
  • Paperwork: Complete and submit pump inspection forms, job ticket and maintenance forms. Keep an accurate timecard of time worked and be able to input time daily into system.
  • Light repair of pumps: Some maintenance is required. Routine maintenance of greasing fittings & greaser, changing gaskets & checking fluid levels. Know the pump well enough to recognize problems and report them.
  • Represent the Company through efficient work and service.
  • Operator must arrive on time to jobsites as scheduled and be able to communicate with project superintendent and foreman

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to meet DOT requirements for hearing and seeing.
  • Must be willing to start early in the morning and get to jobs early for pumping operations.
  • Must be willing to work off hours and a weekend at times as required by concrete pours.
  • Must be able to verbally communicate to others.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds to overhead position.
  • Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have the balance and dexterity to maneuver around a construction site, and must enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be drug and alcohol free.
  • Good manual dexterity to climb on and around the pump in all weather conditions common to Wisconsin.
