Job Title: Pediatric Nurse- Dermatology
Hours/Days: 0.8 FTE-8:30am-5:00pm, late clinic once per month on Tuesdays (0830-1900); Days off per week varies.
Location (s): Children's Main Campus and all of the nurses get assigned to all of our Dermatology regional locations (Delafield, Mequon, New Berlin, MKE) 1-2 times per week.

What you will do:

Functions with demonstrated expertise in the delivery of direct nursing care to children with a variety of health care needs and their families within a specific ambulatory clinic. Assists in establishing and maintaining a quality standard of nursing care for a defined pediatric population. Partners with healthcare team and assesses, prioritizes and provides nursing care to clinic patient population. Meets specific requirements, goals, and competencies established within each ambulatory clinic.

What you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or a BSN in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (BSN is preferred).

  • Prefer two years pediatric and/or specialty nursing experience with emphasis on managing patients with chronic/complex health care needs.

  • A current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin.

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
