Job Description
Qualifications:
  • Is able to advocate within the Person-Centered philosophy and provide great customer service
  • Ability to demonstrate adherence to the Felician Core Values and to foster a corporate culture that promotes adherence to the Core Values by all staff
  • Three years of marketing/community relations experience in the senior housing/healthcare industry
  • Two-four year degree in marketing strongly desired
  • Coordinates and facilitates the admission and move in process including timely completion of paperwork and communication with other departments
  • Established contacts with organizations that reach the same target markets as those for assisted living
  • Demonstrated sales success and the ability to meet or surpass sales goals
  • Strong organization skills; ability to prioritize
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze an issue, identify options, and implement solutions; rely on experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • High energy, self-starter, ability establish positive relationships and collaborate with other functions, staff and other professionals
  • High level of proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, data base management, Power Point, and industry specific software
  • High level of proficiency in using various social media sites and facility website to promote VSF brand
  • Professional, neat appearance along with a positive attitude
  • Valid driver’s license; a reliable vehicle and insurance
Equipment Used:  Personal computer, printers, phone system, fax machine, photocopy machine, wheelchairs, cell phone, emergency call and fire alarm systems; projection system utilized with computer/laptop
 
Physical/Sensory/Cognitive Requirements:  (Occasionally 1%-33% of time; Frequently-34%-66% of time; Continuously 67%-100% of time) 
Must have the ability to:
  • Sit, walk and stand routinely throughout the shift  
  • Deal effectively with the stress of managing multiple tasks, and being involved with staff, government and community agencies continuously
  • Speak clearly and make self understood continuously
  • Deal with elderly residents who may be confused or anxious frequently
  • Hear normal sounds and voice patterns with occasional background noise frequently
  • Perform moderate/complex manipulative tasks such as completing paperwork and using a computer frequently
  • Occasionally perform tasks requiring muscle coordination such as bending, stooping, squatting or reaching above shoulder height
  • Lift/push/pull/move items weighing over 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption frequently
  • Attend to tasks for more than 60 minutes at a time frequently
  • Understand and relate to theories behind several related concepts frequently
  • Remember verbal and written tasks/assignments given at the beginning of a period of time and extending over several days or over longer periods of time frequently
  • Analyze a situation and develop/implement solutions to problem using good judgment constantly
