Job Description
MasterMold LLC is an established composite molder, painter and assembler of many OEM products across a diverse set of industries.  

We currently have an opening for an Industrial Engineer on 2nd shift in our Mauston Facility.


This position is responsible for developing procedures and methods to manufacture new and existing products, driving and supporting continuous process improvement and efficiency goals of all plants. This position will be involved with day to day analysis of production information and will manage initiatives related to improvements, scrap reduction and increasing production throughput. This position will require close working relationships with maintenance, quality, and production teams.


Principal duties & responsibilities will be:
  • Support and drive 4M (MasterMold Manufacturing Methodology)
  • Create and Support PFEP (Plan for Every Part)
  • Preform time studies and flow analysis
  • Own and manage Molding process and sub-process
  • Work closely with production team to achieve process flow requirements and meet plant goals.
  • Support engineering team on successful implementation of new assets and processes: create operating procedures for new equipment, develop installation/qualification procedures, and determine maintenance schedules.
  • Identify high priority opportunities for cost savings and provide these recommendations to management.
  • Review scrap trends, conduct investigations with the maintenance and production team, and recommend / implement changes.
  • Review RFID data and create action plans for issues derived from the data including SPC analysis
  • Create, regularly review, and/or update manufacturing procedures as needed.
  • Support the ‘Continuous Improvement’ and 5S programs.
  • Designs and coordinates the manufacture of fixtures, dies, and automation as assigned to support the manufacture of product.
  • Investigates, establishes, and implements requirements for equipment, tooling, materials, and methods of manufacturing,
  • Establishes production standards, as well as performs cost control and cost reduction studies.
  • Creates all work instructions, process flows, and cell layouts for all new and existing products assigned.
  • Coordinates all assembly pre-production runs such as samples of the building of sub-assemblies, and all pilot builds up to and through initial production runs.
  • Manages special projects as assigned and participates in meetings as required
