Position Description
LAKELAND COLLEGE, an applied liberal arts institution, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Director of International Programs. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Administration, this position provides leadership and coordination relating to: maintaining and building relationships with international educational institutions; international student and faculty exchanges; independent, college-sponsored, and/or faculty-led study abroad experiences; visa compliance and monitoring; relations with Lakeland College’s Tokyo campus; and the overall experience of international students on campus, and domestic students studying abroad.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, a Master’s preferred, along with direct experience in higher education or related field. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and possess the ability to assess the needs of adult students diverse in ability, background and academic interests.
