Plant Engineer

Job Description
Northwestern Extract of Germantown Wisconsin is currently seeking a candidate for the position of plant engineer. The ideal applicant will possess the following attributes: detail-oriented, self-motivated, excellent problem solving skills, mechanically inclined, ultimately well-rounded and adaptable.
The primary duty of this position is to maintain the 20,000 sq ft facility both inside and out ensuring an efficient and safe work environment for the employees. Specific jobs would include maintaining the physical appearance and function of the building, repairing equipment, installing new equipment, and performing all work in conformance of good manufacturing practices within the food and beverage industry.
Important skills for this position:
-Welding
-Electrical
-Plumbing
-Fabrication
-Trouble shooting
-Knowledge of equipment including: form, fill, and seal machines, centrifugal pumps, homogenizers, ribbon blenders, water filtration
-Experience within the food and/or beverage industry
The position is part-time approximately 3 days a week with 7 hour work days or as needed.
