LAKELAND COLLEGE, an independent liberal arts college related to the United Church of Christ and located on a scenic rural campus near Lake Michigan in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, seeks qualified candidates for the above position at our Green Bay Center.
Duties will include serving as an advisor, advocate, and mentor for returning adult students, with special attention paid to academic planning, programs, and requirements specific to the undergraduate and graduate degree options available through the institution. Additional responsibilities include involvement in retention initiatives, student success services, and other projects supporting successful degree-completion.
A Bachelor's degree is required, a Masters preferred, along with direct experience in higher education or related field. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and possess the ability to assess the needs of adult students diverse in ability, background, and academic interests. A combination of daytime, evening, and weekend advising hours is necessary for this position.
