Job Description
LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE 

Prairie States Enterprises seeks an experienced LPN with a clinical background to correspond telephonically with patients, members, providers, and employer benefits departments assisting in the administration of the members' benefit plan, under the direction of the Registered Nurse.  Among the essential functions include the completion of the pre-certification process for health care such as inpatient and outpatient services, durable medical equipment, etc.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Degreed as a Licensed Practical Nurse with current licensure in good standing.
  • 5+ years experience in a clinical or acute care setting
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer service experience.to patients and family members.
  • Background in health benefits preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish fluency is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency is required for this role in utilizing the various software systems to effectively provide customer service according to the PSE service model.
