Company OverviewEagan's is named after Father John R. Eagan, Sr., who was a teacher and mentor to many a student at Marquette University High School. He so impressed owner Jim Pandl that he hoped someday to open a one-of-a-kind restaurant in his name.In September of 1993, he did - and Eagan's reputation has grown with each passing month, now considered one of the top restaurants in the city by the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel. While sporting a cosmopolitan atmosphere, Eagan's brings in the freshest seafood available. There are daily deliveries from Oregon, Maine, Florida, Hawaii, New Zealand and other seafood hot spots around the world. On any given night up to 6 varieties of oysters grace the most extensive raw bar in the city. For those not fond of items from the sea, there are plenty of other excellent entree's and salads. While well-known for its food, Eagan's is much more than a restaurant-its busy bar is one of the largest in the state. 13' high and 65' long, the "back bar" houses over 450 different liquors, including a wide variety of single malt scotch, cognacs and grappas. Located on Water Street, and connected to a 1600-space parking structure, Eagan's is in the middle of Milwaukee's busiest night life and entertainment districts-just a block or two from a number of theater companies, the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, and the Bradley Center, which showcases the Milwaukee Bucks.
