Saint John's Home of Milwaukee was founded in 1868 by a group of Episcopal churchwomen to provide shelter to needy parish members. Today, we proudly carry on their legacy of service offering a full continuum of quality, compassionate residential and health care services to older adults.

Saint John's is a not-for-profit corporation affiliated with the Milwaukee Diocese of the Episcopal Church.

Our mission is to provide a broad range of high quality residential, health care, cultural and educational services to older adults and those with physical disabilities from diverse socio-economic groups. We seek to identify, and meet with compassion, the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those we serve. Our services promote the dignity, health, self-sufficiency, safety and quality of life of people of all faiths both within our facilities and in the greater Milwaukee community

Pastoral Care
Saint John's Pastoral Care program focuses on the spiritual well being of our residents and their families and remains an integral part of our community. Worship services and the presence of a Chaplain are a continuing source of religious strength. As people of all faiths reside at Saint John's ecumenical services are also offered.

Saint John's works in cooperation with the parishes of the community and other organizations to fulfill our mission of care and commitment to those we serve.

Saint John's has been serving seniors for over 130 years. One of our greatest assets in our long history has been our employees. Our team of professionals provides the finest medical care and services for residents in our Retirement Community and for clients who choose to stay in their own home.
