LASATA CARE CENTER is the Ozaukee County owned skilled nursing care facility located in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Lasata opened in 1966 and has served over 2250 residents since then. Lasata is licensed by the State of Wisconsin for 203 beds with an average daily occupancy of 196 residents. There are 49 private rooms, 76 double rooms and a 3-bed intensive care unit for our residents stay. Surrounding the home are 25 acres of land with outdoor gardens, patios and walking paths.

We provide 24-hour care with RN supervision in a comfortable home-like environment. We also provide many skilled and specialized medical services to the residents under the direction of a physician. Our services include a: beauty/barbershop that is open daily, a chapel with various denominational services, an in-house State Licensed Pharmacy, dental, podiatry, audiology and optometry consultation/services in the facility; physical, speech and occupational therapy in a fully equipped therapy department; psychiatric and psychological therapy sessions in the facility, IV therapy, tube feedings, ostomy care, a Certified Medicare unit, and a unit for those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Lasata has a Resident Council that meets monthly and a Family Council that meets quarterly with staff to discuss common issues as well as to stay informed as to facility procedural changes, implementation of new laws, and discussions and ideas for future programs.

Lasata Care Center is a member of Wisconsin Association of County Homes (WACH), an organization of all the county owned nursing homes in Wisconsin, and Wisconsin Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (WAHSA), an organization of over 300 non-profit nursing homes, retirement centers, group homes and apartments for the elderly and disabled.
