Anna and John in 1915 opened what is now called Jack Pandl's Original Whitefish Bay Inn. After John died in 1932, Anna managed to weather her husband's death - and the Great Depression - to keep the business going, eventually passing it to her sons, George and Jack.

Today, Jack's son, John, is operating the Whitefish Bay restaurant while George's sons, Jimmy and Jere, have their hands full with three restaurants and a catering service: Pandl's in Bayside, Pandl's Catering Complete, Eagan's on Water and their newest venture, Waterfront Deli.


Eagan's on Water offers a cosmopolitan atmosphere, the stunning dining room boasts French impressionist murals and the friendly, knowledgeable staff will cater to your every need. A Milwaukee Landmark, Eagan’s reputation as one of the top restaurants in the city continues to grow with each passing year. Eagan's is a regular winner of "Milwaukee's Favorite Raw Bar". Daily seafood deliveries promise you the freshest seafood available with up to 6 varieties of oysters on any given night. The menu also offers an excellent selection of land lovers’ entrees and salads. Although known for its great food, Eagan’s is much more than a restaurant. Located in the middle of Milwaukee’s busiest night life, it’s popular bar is one of the largest in the state. In 1968 Pandl's in Bayside opened seven miles north of the original Pandl's on the corner of Lake Drive and Brown Deer Road, directly across the street from the Schlitz Audubon Wildlife Center. Pandl's in Bayside's dedication to quality and a passion to satisfy each customer has consistently established it as one of Milwaukee's favorite places to dine. Their brunch on Sunday and salad bar every night are rated the cities best. Private rooms are also available for any size group up to 200 people. And if you are planning an event for some other location their catering service, Pandl's Catering Complete, will be happy to accommodate.

Pandl's is a traditional restaurant that encourages leisurely dining. It was built in 1968 by George Pandl, who sold it to his son Jim around 1987. Jim also operates Eagan's on Water, Milwaukee Waterfront Deli and Pandl's Catering Complete.

Pandl's in Bayside offers a enjoyable, slower and more traditional approach to dinner. They have fantastic picture windows offering a view of the beautifully landscaped lot which is home to various wildlife. A regular winner of "Milwaukee's Favorite Sunday Brunch" award, the restaurant offers a special charm and warmth that keeps their diners coming back for more. Since Jim Pandl assumed ownership, the menu has taken on a more "a la carte" approach. This way diners needn't purchase soups or salads unless they want them. Jim has also added vegetarian entrees and a list of daily specials that includes fresh seafood.


Milwaukee’s Waterfront Deli creates a whole new definition of the Deli in an upscale form. Dine-in or take out and treat yourself to fine dining Deli style. All items are prepared to order and are created with a gourmet touch. The BLT is far from traditional, served with bacon, lox, tomato and arugula. Roast Beef is Black Angus sirloin, potato salad is exquisite, and an exciting variety of olive salads are offered. Fine wines are also served and treating yourself to this dining experience of course requires linen napkins when dining in. Loaves of gourmet breads are also available for take out and you’ll find yourself coming back day after day to enjoy today’s featured creations.
