Diversity Recruitment - A Changing Workforce, A Changing Regulatory Environment

The recent elections showed the demographics are changing in the United States. The workplace is also changing as companies now serve a more diverse population. Employers need to find effective ways to reach non-traditional candidates. The regulatory environment is also changing. The Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has higher expectations for its contractors and subcontractors. OFCCP is now requiring outreach efforts that generate results, and OFCCP's ever-changing expectations are driven by a desire to provide "good jobs for everyone."
